What Do HP Envy Printers Do?
All
the latest models are less about overall performance and gaming.
The new version is an HP NV printer based on the new fourth-generation Intel
Core i processor. It has the same design as the previous ENVY h8 compared to
the ENVY h9 Phoenix, which is a good thing, while the H9 has more light for the
average user. Surprisingly, the HP NV 700-060 revolves around the Intel Core
i5-4430 quad-core processor. This is the lowest score of the new
fourth-generation Intel Core I processor currently available. It is a good
processor for most users, but it is slower than most competitors that offer
faster i5-4670 or Core i7-4770 processes. This only affects users who perform
highly demanding tasks such as desktop video editing. The processor is
compatible with 10GB of DTR3 memory, which is quite unusual. To achieve that
result it compromised two 4GB and two 1GB modules and the performance
difference between that and 8GB is very small. Those looking for a future
memory upgrade will want to remove the 1GB volume pair. A major advantage of
the HP NV 700-060 competition is the use of solid-state drives.
Some companies have chosen to use some smaller SSTs
for temporary storage, but the system uses 128 GB as the primary boot and
application drive. It is a portable drive and can be loaded quickly if users
store their data files there. To deal with this problem, HP includes a second
two terabyte hard drive to store your large data files and keep SSDs for
operating systems and applications for better performance. This provides a
large amount of storage space, but the system starts in about ten seconds and
has unique performance when loading applications. If you want to add additional
storage space, HP offers up to four USB 3.0 ports for use with high-speed
external storage drives. A standard dual-layer DVD burner is still in the
system for playing and recording CD or DVD media, even if not connected today.
The biggest drawback to the HP NV700-060 is the graphics system. Each system
competing at this price point includes a dedicated graphics card, even though
it has a very low end. Instead of relying on the Intel HD Graphics 4600 built
into the Core i5 processor, HP opted for it. This is a slight improvement over
the HD Graphics 4000 found on previous-generation Intel processors. It does not
yet have significant 3D performance, and can only be used for older games with
a lower level of clarity and detail. However, it provides some good
acceleration for video encryption when used in fast sync-enabled applications.
There is no room to install a dedicated graphics card
on the computer and the power is a decent 460 watts, meaning it can handle some
very powerful performance 3D cards. HP has been integrating wireless networking
with many desktops for years. . It is always good and convenient to connect the
computer to the home network. It is disappointing to see that HP has only one Wi-Fi solution capable of 2.4 GHz. This means that the low noise 5GHz spectrum cannot
be used for 802.11a or 802.11n standards. This dual-band support is decreasing
in today's desktop space because the cost of adding it is low.
Priced at $ 800 to $ 900, the HP ENVY 700-060 saw a
fair amount of competition. The closest competitor to the solid-state drive for
the casing is the Acer with the Aspire AT3, but the system costs $ 1000. It
offers a faster Core i7, 16GB of memory, and an NVidia GeForce GT6405 card.
For those who no longer care about solid-state drives,
there are several options, including the Asus Essence M51AC and Dell XPS 8700.
Both are in the same price range as HP systems, but increasingly the i7 -4770.
Asus has no Wi-Fi network, but a GeForce GT625 graphics card. Dell, on the
other hand, only has a terabyte hard drive, but also a Radeon HD 7570 graphics
card and dual-band Wi-Fi networking.
